Time Flys, things change

EDIT: Sale pending - deposit received.

Well......

Time flys, things change....  At least in my world they do.

I was going to write some long drawn out story about how we came to this decision but I will spare you all the details and just make a long story short.

We have decided to discontinue and sell this RV-10 project due to life decisions and future plans for traveling the country in a different kind of RV.

Yes you read that correctly..... We are selling the RV-10 project.

At this point I would prefer to sell the finished (less fiberglass work) emp/tailcone and the partially finished (wing spars ready for ribs) together.

This would need to be picked up at my house in Newport, TN as there is no way I could possibly ship this project.

There are tons of pictures and dialog on this blog that details what you would be buying.  The project is complete with all the factory supplied parts and hardware.  I have purchased a ton of extra hardware, rivets and other misc. stuff that will all go with the project.

I have purchased a few extras as well along the way:

2ea NACA Scoops
Cleaveland Static Air Kit
Billet Aluminum Trim Cable Anchors
Van's Yaw Servo Install Kit and Yaw Servo Bracket (Does not include Servo Bellcrank, purchase this from Dynon or Garmin)
Electric Roll Trim Kit
2ea Float Style Fuel Senders

I have over $17,050 invested not counting my labor.

Van's current price for just the emp/tailcone/wing kits/crating charge without any options or freight is $15,955.

Current lead time for emp/tailcone kit is 4 weeks.
Current lead time for wing kit is 14 weeks.

Asking $16,500 firm.

Wow time fly's!

Wow how time fly's and how easy it is to neglect a project like building an RV-10.

Just a short update to let folks know that I am not dead, am not sick that I am aware of, and no, the project is not being abandoned although it may look like it :)

The reality is other things have taken priority over the build and since this is a looooonnnng term project for me, I have to be OK with letting it sit for long periods while I take care of other stuff.

Right now my priority has to be getting re-focused on my fitness and weight management.  I am slowly creeping back up on the scale and that is not good!  I cannot allow my weight to get too far ahead of me again!

That being said, I must spend more time exercising and focusing on my health.  This will slow the progress of the build because exercising takes a ton of time to do effectively!
